Export your sailing tracks from the Navionics mobile app
The Navionics Mobile App
The Navionics mobile app is a popular way for many boaters to navigate on the water. I often compare it to the Google Maps of the boating world - you can see exactly where you are, get directions which keep you in safe water, and see how long it’ll take to get to your destination. It is essentially a chartplotter on your phone, and it uses your internet connection to keep your charts up to date.
One of the great features in Navionics is tracking a voyage. This can be helpful context while navigating, to be able to see your actual course behind you on the chart, or be able to check what path you used to get into a tight spot before. If you want to record a track, just hit “Start” on the main chart view in the app.
These recorded tracks are also a precise record of your boating history! If you want to create a log of these voyages, or share your journeys with your friends, you can export your tracks from the Navionics in a universal format called GPX, which you can then load into many other apps.

Exporting multiple or all of your tracks
If you have multiple tracks you want to use elsewhere, you can export multiple at the same time. Note that Navionics will bundle these tracks into one file, so you may find not all apps will import this single file appropriately (Sailjourn understands this format, and will split the single file into the multiple journeys it contains).
